Pretty in Pink

Pink to me is such a feminine color to wear. It's soft and it's beautiful. But like peach, comes in many different shades of pretty. When I put on a hot pink shirt, I feel bold, but still very lady-like. As women we're lucky that we can wear pink. Not that men can't wear hot pink, but we all know that they have to be extremely secure in their manhood to make it work. But as ladies we can rock the pink all summer long. Lucky for us, our pink palette has a much wider selection. Here's one way to be pretty in pink at work...try this wrinkle free fitted sateen shirt from Banana Republic. Since you saved yourself some time because you didn't have to iron your shirt, you can spend that extra time parading your hot little pink-wearing self around the office.

Here's one hot little pink sleeveless luxe tank you could've worn under your business suit, but once you leave that power meeting and head out to a more casual event, keep the tank and dress it down with your favorite pair of blue jeans, or skirt....ahhh....so pretty in pink!

For the softer side of you, how about these delicate, sweet, flowing tops from Banana Republic and Nordstrom. This dainty shade will leave everyone absolutely enchanted.

Since we're talking pink, roses came to mind. Pink is a color that can bloom both in your garden and on your lips. It can have your man doing a double take since your lips will be looking so luscious. And since he'll be staring at you, this time he won't get in trouble! Smashbox carries a dazzling pink lipstick called fun and flirty, sure to get any man's attention. Your lips will look fresh and totally kissable.

Your pink dinner selection can be guava. This delicious, exotic fruit is as nutritious as it is gorgeous. Guava is rich in Vitamins A, C, and B3, not mention potassium, and many more vitamins and minerals. But when you take a bite of this mouth-watering fruit, one thing that'll stand out is the texture from the seeds. The guava's seeds and leaves are just as healthy as the fruit itself. The seeds hold beneficial polyunsaturated fatty acids. These are good fats, ladies, that flatter your hips! And we all know from Shakira that the hips don't lie, honey. Guava leaves are rich sources of astringent which help tighten your skin by dissolving oil in it. So guava is the perfect complement to being pretty in pink this summer. Remember, beauty within and out and of course, with Palette 2 Palate color is in all year 'round!
