Rock 'n' Roll Style

Palette2Palate was extremely excited to be part of a private invitation to the Guitar Center induction ceremony of multi-platinum and Grammy winning Latin rockers MANA into the retailers’ historic RockWalk on September 17th in Hollywood California. Guitar Center’s Rockwalk is dedicated to honoring those artists who have made a significant impact and lasting contribution to the growth and evolution of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Blues, and R&B. Mana’s handprint will reside alongside accomplished musicians such as Johnny Cash, Van Halen, Eric Clapton and among numerous others.

What a great way to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month as Palette2Palate got to be part of this wonderful induction of one of Latin's favorite bands. Alex Gonzalez, Mana’s drummer said “If we can inspire future Latin musicians to achieve what Mana has done and they can have their hands in cement in the walk of fame, that would be a tremendous accomplishment for us.” Gonzalez also noted “ that he’d first come to that same Sunset Strip store with just $7 for spare drumsticks and now he’s becoming a permanent part of it.

Palette2Palate was so inspired with Mana’s Rock ‘n’ Roll music that we decided to showcase one of fall’s biggest trends “Black Leather” that will have you look like a Rock Star. So whether you wear a top like this Robert Rodriquez mix leather cashmere or Leather the leg with skinny metallic coated jeans. This will give you that perfect edgy look now your rocking it.

Drum roll please! Let’s talk about you rocking the look, how about this Leather front sheath dress. If you have not yet invested in the little black dress, it's time, honey. This is one dress you can have so much fun and wear with your favorite high heels or boots. You can also mixed the dress with your favorite fall sweater or jacket! You will have everyone singing to your beat with your cool style!

Accessories are big this fall and why not go with your heavy metals. Stylish metallic hardware like these crystal-encrusted spires bracelets and necklaces and perfect Metallic clutch you can wear through the day and long into the night. Let’s not forget to rock the footwear with boots that lace up or studded this fall.

Shiny black leather outfits inspire me to eat shiny black berries! No pleather here...just the real deal...when it comes to super foods. Blackberries are packed full of anti-oxidants and fiber, along with Vitamins C and K. They're also rich in Anthocyanins, the pigments found in many berries, which scientists from Clemson University say can help fight breast cancer cells. Fashion Night Out LA





From LA to New York, Chicago to Milan, Fashion Night Out is a shopping extravaganza. The night is full with after hours shopping, Celebreties, and events all to support designers worldwide and the economy. Palette 2 Palate came out to celebrate FNO LA at the Beverly Center. The Beverly Center hosted two very Luxury Fashion Shows. The front row was full of celebrities, stylist like Chaz Dean , press and of course bloggers like Palette 2 Palate.

A very special thanks to Latina Fashion, Lifestyle and Beauty Bloggers who invited a few of there members like Palette 2 Palate, Full Figured Potential,   Curves Ahead Make- and Sassy Mama in LA to attend this special evening. 

Some of the cast of Fox hit show GLEE were there to open the Fashion Show.

The fashion show was spectatular with lots of trends satuared with vivid bold color for fall like red, honeysuckle pink ,emerald, rich hues are here to stay all year long. There was fun varsity inspired jackets, hats, and leopard inspired prints .One trend that caught me eye was faux-fur for that cozy,warm and fabulous look it was all over the runway.

So get cozy this fall!Go Faux-a fake-fur that looks remarkable real and gives a fashionable statement. Here are some pieces from FNO LA base designer Bebe to consider. One is a simple jacket with faux-fur collar to stay urban but chic. How about this cool and stylish faux fur funnel capelet. Both of these jackets will work by keeping it simple with a turtleneck and trousers.

The live models were not the only special guest that night at Image Boutique they had International radio Dj Teemaree. She captivated audience to store as she mixed from vinyls to digital technology. Teemaree was not only spinning on the turntables, but turning heads as she rocks this cute fax fur vest. Palette 2 Palate-Adriana Sanchez with with Dj Teemaree at FNO 2011.
