LA Fashion Week- Designer Giving Back!
Palette2Palate was honor to be invited to this very private "Night's Dream Evening Bash" at designer Jane Booke home. One of Los Angeles fashion maven,maverick and rock goddess designer Jane Booke showed her latest "everyday couture" line.
Since her very first collection Jane Booke has dress many notable actresses,private clients for red carpets. One celebrity family that are fans and pals of Jane Brooke are Rosanna Arquette and sister Patricia Arquette. In fact Rosanna Arquette was there to help launch Jane's latest line.
The "everyday couture"collection includes dresses in silk chiffon and linens incorporates her attraction to Renaissance style and appreciation for luxurious lingerie. Here are more of Jane's celebrity friends like Daphne Wayans in this lovely pink silk dress and Veronica Loren with this white renaissance inspired beautiful dress.
Another celebrity to join the party and got some shopping was actress Dakota Johnson, daughter of Melaine Griffith and Don Johnson.
The night was full with beautiful people,fashions and great a scent as Jane showcased her frangance "TAKEN" an extension of the Taken clothing line, "TAKEN is a heady, sultry statement, TAKEN captures you. Sweet, sexy notes of mango, peach, bergamot with subtle accords of jasmine and muguet. Not to mention the "TAKEN" candles that where making such a gorgeous statement all though out Jane's home.
The crowd of private clients, celebrity all come out for a good cause. Proceeds from event will benefit the charity of Rosanna's sister Patricia Arquette, GiveLove, which Patricia founded with Rosanna Millington-Getty, to develop temporary housing solutions and improve sanitation systems in Haiti.GiveLove is working on community-led sanitation projects to treat and compost waste, improve public health, and create jobs around recycling.
